Sara-Rose Millar

I am a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and music educator with over 30 years of performance experience. Writing and performing original music for more than a decade, I self-produced my debut album, Echoes of Avalon, in 2022. Influenced by Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, my sound also draws from jazz, musical theatre, country, and medieval music.

Alongside composing scores for film and theatre and writing two original stage musicals, I perform vocals, woodwinds, brass, piano, and guitar across solo projects, bands, orchestras, choirs, and theatre pit ensembles.

Passionate about community music, I have worked extensively as a tutor and facilitator with youth theatres, disability groups, aged care programs, and community choirs, and am currently the in-house musician and music co-ordinator for a local gallery.
